Justin is an articling student with Bishop & McKenzie. Prior to law school, he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction from the University of Alberta School of Business in 2018. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in 2023. During law school, Justin was a founder of the University of Calgary Technology and Law Association, serving also as the President in 2023. Additionally, he volunteered with Pro Bono Law Students Canada.

During his academic studies Justin was heavily involved in amateur hockey within Alberta, coaching hockey at the U15AA level at the Canadian Athletic Club in Edmonton, and Northwest Calgary Athletic Association in Calgary. He has also recently began scouting hockey for an organization in the Alberta Junior Hockey League.

Outside of work, Justin can be found taking trips to the mountains to hike and camp in the summer, and ski in the winter. He can also be found on the golf course, tennis court, squash court, the outdoor rink, and at the dog park with his border collie Luna.
